Lewandowsky: If you don't believe that CO2 causes bad weather, that's like saying popcorn doesn't exist?
This a guest post by Professor Stephan Lewandowsky, of the University of Western Australia.NOAA Mixing Their Niños | Watts Up With That?
THE guy next to you in the pub turns around and says, “Popcorn doesn’t exist”... and he adds, “but it grows naturally on trees! And it’s good for you!”...Sadly, the public in some countries - in particular in Australia and the U.S. - is drenched in such incoherence in the form of climate denial.
In their attempts to disguise the fact that 2012 will likely turn out to be one of the colder years this century, NOAA have made the ludicrous, and frankly dishonest, claim that this year will be the “hottest La Niña” year on record.- 61°F in Siberia…Gee, Now I’m Really Worried About The Permafrost Melting!
But is it a La Niña year?
I remember 2010 when there was the big heat wave in Central Russia in the summertime when temperatures soared over 100°F. “An unmistakable sign of global warming!” the media shrieked for days and days.Up to 18 inches of snow for West Virginia
But now that it is deadly cold. with dozens freezing to death every day, there’s not a peep about that in the warmist media. No, we don’t want to report that.

If anyone from De Smug Blargh happens to come by and see this, I have a question for you:
The Jews in Nazi Germany were forced to wear a yellow star. What color star (or triangle) does the likes of lewandowski- or anyone else from you blog- think we Skeptics should be wearing?
