Rep. Massie, an MIT grad, questions Obama's global-warming claims - Washington Times
Rep. Thomas Massie challenged President Obama to roll out the proof that humans have played a hand in climate change.

Mr. Massie, Kentucky Republican, said he was "disappointed" that the president in his second inaugural address blamed droughts on "human activity" and accused some of "denying the evidence of scientists."

"As somebody with a science-type background, I took offense at that," Mr. Massie said during a panel meeting billed as "Conversations With Conservatives." "I would challenge him to show us the linkage — the undeniable linkage — between droughts and the change of weather, and some kind of human activity."
Don’t Do It Bill!!!!!! | Real Science
Bill McKibben must resist the temptation to use any fossil fuels this winter. Temperatures might be -20F at his house in Vermont, but burning anything that adds CO2 to the atmosphere is simply not acceptable.

The planet is overheating and we need inspirational leaders who are not hypocrites and liars. We can also safely assume that Harvard University is not using any heat, because they have divested themselves from fossil fuels. Global warming is keeping the students warm, and we wouldn’t want to send them the wrong message.

CNN Weatherman: Don't Laugh! Cold Temps Come from Global Warming | NewsBusters
We were amused by this one. In the 1 pm hour, CNN meteorologist Chad Myers was talking about the frigid temperatures in the eastern United States. Guess the culprit? As always, global warming.

"So what's causing all of this cold air? If I tell you and I look at you straight in the face and tell you global warming, you're going to laugh at me. But in fact, it's the case."
