Slow-mo video of cooling tower demolition lets you savor a power plant being destroyed | Grist
Ever get so mad about the havoc that power plants wreak on our climate and atmosphere that you want to just blow those f$ckers up? If so, please turn yourself in to the FBI, because that is a little much, dude. However, if you like to just imagine such drastic measures, this video will help you give a face to your fantasy, by showing power plant cooling towers being demolished in delicious slow motion.
...
The video is a project of The Slow Mo Guys, celebrated YouTube exploders of stuff. The guys don’t explain much about what these cooling towers are for (they do say it’s a power station), or how they got permission to blow them up. Maybe they didn’t have permission. Maybe they really are acting out your weird, sociopathic activist fantasies.
