She's also a gifted communicator, with a calm clear voice and a knack for stripping things down to the nub and saying it in language everybody can understand.

With her husband, a minister, Hayhoe co-authored a book for evangelical Christians. Climate for Change: Global Warming Facts for Faith-Based Decisions is a must read for anybody addressing this important community or looking for clear explanations in plain language. Particularly revealing is the beginning, where the authors bridge the cultural divide and address the stereotypes that block communication between evangelicals and the science community.

Don't feel bad, Mr. Mann blocked me. He says that >100% of the observed warming is caused by GHG. Huh?? I questioned that and got blocked. Inconvenient questions don't deserve to be answered, they deserve to be ignored in their fairy tale world.

What Watts, Nelson, Russell, et al. forget is that:
A constructive debate demands a level playing field, a landscape of trust and respect. Along with mutually agreeable guidelines of behavior and evidence.
Scientific consensus skeptics have shown repeatedly that fidelity to the truth and mutual respect along with some introspection and self-skepticism are totally absent from their own world views.
Furthermore, they love drama and demonizing, {as repeatedly proven by Watts' blog-bullying and Mr. Taylor's own extreme, almost paranoid, Forbes articles. Same sorts of tactics used by Spencer, Watts, McIntyre, Monckton, Nelson, Russell and other climate science deniers}.
Remember Goal Oriented Skepticism Equals Denial !
