This is the largest human rights issue of our generation,” said John Jennings, a RISD freshman involved in the sit-in who is considering transferring if RISD doesn’t move to change its curriculum and investment practices to meet the challenges of today’s world....“To own stock in a company whose business model is to destroy the planet is a bad decision, both morally and financially,” said Erica Pernice, a RISD junior. “We may be art students, but we can do the math.”
