Climate Change Dogma Killing the Economy as EU Carbon Crashes on Vote against High CO2 Prices says Friends of Science
Carbon prices in the European Union crashed up to 45 per cent as Members of the European Parliament voted against a climate change policy of high prices on carbon dioxide (CO2), due the burden on economy, industry and families. Friends of Science will host Dr. Benny Peiser May 14, 2013 in Calgary to speak on “To Heat or Eat: Europe’s Failed Climate Policies” at the 10th Annual Friends of Science Luncheon.
EU climate chief promises to save emissions trading scheme
Stig Schjølset, head of EU carbon analysis at Thomson Reuters Point Carbon, said the vote would “make EU ETS irrelevant as an emissions reduction tool for many years to come” and that it was “very unlikely that any political intervention in the scheme will be agreed during the third phase from 2013 to 2020″.
Lack of knowledge on climate change | The Zimbabwean
Dube was speaking on the sidelines of a parliamentarians’ workshop on climate and sustainable development organised by the SADC Climate Services Centre in conjunction with the Meteorological Services Department held from April 11-12. “Some people still believe that climate change is linked to sin. Some are of the view that the erratic rainfalls or flash floods are largely because of lack of adherence to cultural values and practices,” said Dube.

Dube urged fellow legislators to embark on educative programmes concerning climate change in their constituencies.

“We should embark on programmes to educate our people on climate change. They really need to know that it’s human behavior that is to blame,” he said.
Is climate change taking a break? | Environment | DW.DE | 18.04.2013
The cold start into spring has made people in parts of Europe wonder if the climate is really warming. Global temperatures have not been rising in recent years. Is the earth cooling instead of warming?
...The long period of cold spring weather would seem to confirm the theory expressed by Vladimir Petoukhov from the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research. When he published his paper in late 2010, his comment was "hard winters do not contradict our image of global warming. On the contrary, they complete the picture. "
Germany sees an 'increase in mild winters' | Environment | DW.DE | 30.12.2012
[Warmist Mojib Latif] Last winter, we had two weeks that were extremely cold. So winters like that are not going to disappear. However, if we continue down this path and end up with global warming of four or five degrees by the end of the century, then the likelihood of us still seeing these kinds of conditions will probably drop to zero.
