KOLKATA: Rajendra Pachauri, chairperson of the Inter-governmental Panel on Climate Change that shared the 2007 Nobel peace prize with former US vice-president Al Gore, is saddened by the city's dissociation with environment in its quest to become another modern metropolis. He hopes it can resist the temptation to be a me-too city sans character with an unsustainable development model.
