[Q] They selected you for your decades of hard work ringing the alarm bell about climate change. Does it get a little lonely out there for you?

James Hansen:  Well, that is an interesting question I have never been asked before...we know the consequences on the century timescale are going to be enormous. So there’s really no disagreement about that and the fact that we won’t be able to control it.

So in that sense, the answer to your question is that I am disappointed that there aren’t more of my colleagues out there.
