John Cook, proprietor of Skeptical Science, recently asked people to host links to a survey he’s running. lucia has made several posts on this, and I’ve taken a particular interest in one aspect of the survey: It’s supposed randomness. Participants are told they’re being shown 10 randomly selected abstracts to review. They aren’t.
