Warmist Marshall Shepherd wonders why the little people trust cardiologists, yet refuse to believe that their sins cause bad weather?

Once again, why is public comfortable offering theories to #climate scientists yet don't tell cardiologists how to do a triple bypass

The answer is very simple: The man-caused global warming idea makes no sense, the predictions don't work and the basic science of it is:

CO2 is a “trace gas” in air, insignificant by definition. It absorbs 1/7th as much IR, heat energy, from sunlight as water vapor which has 80 times as many molecules capturing 560 times as much heat making 99.8% of all "global warming." CO2 does only 0.2% of it. For this we should destroy our economy?

Carbon combustion generates 80% of our energy. Control and taxing of
carbon would give the elected ruling class more power and money than anything since the Magna Carta of 1215 AD.

Some cardiologists have carried out a number of heart transplants and the patients have survived.

Some climate scientists cannot fit a straight line to data using Excel.

Who would you trust?

I'm sorry, but Marshall Shepherd's comment displays gross ignorance. I have never known of a cardiologist to do a heart transplant, they are always done by cardiac surgeons. The training of the two are grossly different.

The bypass patient selects the cardiac surgeon (not cardiologist), and agrees to pay him.

The cardiac surgeon doesn't go out on the street and kidnap people who do not believe they need heart surgery.

Where the rubber meets the road on the Progressive agenda is when the nannies and do-gooders use the police power of the State to compel citizens against their will to do or suffer some thing, or to bear come cost,, for the Progressive agenda.

I've read a lot about things claimed by "Climatologists" but never saw a "Climatologist" college degree. Fortunately, the same cannot be said for either cardiology or cardiac surgery.

The metric of successful science is utility. Successful science tells us things that are of immediate use and application. A cardiologist's skill is immediately applicable - she or he can save your life.
Climatologists in contrast are visibly little more than fortune tellers with degrees, and to all intents and purposes no more reliable than fortune cookies.

This comment again illustrates the hubris of the climate science community, wanting to be compared to cardiologists (or cardiac surgeons). Such medical specialties have a long record of success in treating genuine illnesses. Climate scientists have a long record of success in - nothing at all!

Spot the difference? The public sure can
