Wow: BBC Radio Oxford’s Drivetime host Mike Prever: "I would argue also that the evidence against climate change is overwhelming...there’s a huge amount of evidence from esteemed organisations and professors and universities around the world that are calling into question a lot of the climate change information we have been fed for so many years"

I was asked to give an interview on BBC Radio Oxford’s Drivetime programme with Mike Prever (starting at about 1:33 h in, will be available until Thursday, May 16) that evening to explain the arguments behind the opposition and to talk about the new Fossil Free campaign . However, Mike Prever had other ideas. Fancying himself as the next Paxman, Prever attempted to stir up a heated discussion around the issue of whether climate change is actually happening, saying…
“I would argue also that the evidence against climate change is overwhelming. We could sit here and bat this one back for hours on end. It’s not an absolute given, is it now? And there’s a huge amount of evidence from esteemed organisations and professors and universities around the world that are calling into question a lot of the climate change information we have been fed for so many years.”
