The question is of more than passing interest to climate scientists as they ponder the prospect that the sun may be about to enter such a period.
Both Spiegel and National Geographic depict on their covers a sea level rise on the order of 60 meters or so. Totally preposterous with regards to today’s scientific knowledge.
