A paper published today in Geophysical Research Letters finds the natural "Pacific Decadal Oscillation (PDO) contributes significantly to the twenty-year trends in global mean sea level." The authors "find that removing the PDO contribution reduces the acceleration in Global Mean Sea Level estimated over the past sixty years."
