Students always think they know more than their professors.
Its obvious that Judy is hitting the nail on the head as many on the gravy train are now attacking her. Heh smart guy, when you rise to be head or your department at a school like Ga Tech and have the guts to say what you believe, not march like a sheep, lets us know. Have you ever had to make a forecast where if you are wrong, you get fired. You would find out real fast what drives the atmosphere
Its unbelievable its come to this. Those of us that have loved the weather since their first memory can see through the scam of people that use the weather for a political agenda and in a way to satisfy their own self esteem
It must be galling to work on a PhD with NASA GISS and then realize that real world observations show that the climate is not behaving as you proselytize in your thesis. It is understandable that messengers bringing this news will be attacked. Understandable, but not the behavior of a real scientist who looks for truth, rather then to be proven right.
