Africa can’t sit on its hands and wait for climate justice
For sure, corruption continues to be prevalent. But unless the mindset changes on both sides of the divide, regions like Africa will continue to suffer from misjudgment and mistrust.

The deep suspicion that money will not be spent for the intended purposes will determine how much of the resources will be committed and directed towards the African region.
Now Appearing: The real climategate
Science progresses by sharing data. It's never enough for one source to say they've seen a result - it needs be verified and repeated elsewhere. This means data should be freely available to check and compare. But climate data is often held back. This isn't because of some climate science conspiracy - it's for commercial reasons. Bodies like the Met Office (pictured above) make a fair amount of cash from selling climate data.

I believe in Made-Up Global Warming. It's about 18° in Central Bama right now so I'll believe in pink unicorns if it'll make my buns warm.
Monckton Australian Tour | The SPPI Blog
Christopher Monckton, Viscount Monckton of Brenchley, has accepted an invitation to visit Australia for a major lecture tour on the theme Apocalypse? NO! ‘Global Warming’ is Not a Global Crisis in late January to early February 2010. He will be accompanied by his wife Juliet, Viscountess Monckton of Brenchley.

Professor Ian Plimer, who will also accompany Lord Monckton on his whirlwind tour of the mainland’s capital cities starting in Sydney on January 26 and finishing in Perth on February 8, says: “Although I modestly state that I am a good performer, Lord Monckton is superb. I have seen him fielding a very hostile BBC and other networks. He has the ability to change thinking.”
Climategate: Here Comes Courage! (Is climate catastrophism losing its ‘politically correct’ grip?) — MasterResource
Consider what Andy Revkin, the recently retired climate-change science writer at the New York Times, told the public editor at the Times regarding Climategate: “Our coverage, looked at in toto, has never bought the catastrophe conclusion and always aimed to examine the potential for both overstatement and understatement.”

Unmentioned on the ABC story was that there are allegations that the interstate chartered buses for this event were targeted by Road Traffic Authority (RTA) inspectors. Bus inspections were suddenly arranged, which can take up to 6 hours, and incredibly called for over the New Years Day holiday and weekend? These inspections are legal, but the timing, if this is true, is extraordinary.

Had the term "global warming" not been used in the first place perhaps we could have a more serious discussion. #p2 #wintersRcold
