CALGARY, Alberta, Nov 23 (Reuters) - Canadian spot natural gas prices rose to the highest in more than five months on Tuesday as bitterly cold temperatures in Western Canada boosted heating demand.

Producers delivered 8.62 bcf to the system, down 400 bcf from Monday as cold weather froze gas wells, and a net 1.81 bcf of gas was withdrawn from Alberta storage facilities.
