The reason for this is because IBWOs are spooked by blog entries about them. In a stunning feat of evolution, they developed this ability for decades before blogs even existed.
IBWO researchers have understood this for months. If you knew this, you'd understand why they were forced to stop their public updates. Yes, they can still send secret e-mails to each other, but they must be ever vigilant that the IBWOs don't know they are doing it.

They may have acquired this behavior by lateral gene transfer from the species with whom they are mostly closely associated in the wild: Sasquatch.
The latest edition of American Primate contains a detailed article by famed Bolivian researcher Dr. Sirhan Nahris which outlines in his typically devastating fashion the evidence which shows that the Apollo landings were faked by the Idaho "Ib-Okusan" Sasquatch tribe, using sophisticated (for the time) computers and an all-Sasquatch cast of actors.
