I've posted negative stuff on Cyberthrush's blog recently. For example, I pointed out he and numerous other people had misidentified an Imperial Woodpecker specimen for an Ivory-bill! Imagine that, blowing a call when you have plenty of time to study a good photo. Imagine what a person could do with a glimpse of a distant flying bird or an even better imagination.
Yes, the reason is that I'm tired of moderating comments. I don't have the time for it, and my season is over. There was also a supposed post from Tom Nelson that I had up for awhile, but after learning that the comments attributed to you were faked, ibwo atheist, I realized that this, too, was probably a joke.
I don't know how it is for Tom Nelson or other blog hosts, but the majority of comments I was screening 'til I shut them down were obvious practical jokes, trolls, or fakes. Though some were funny, I just didn't want my blog to become a vehicle for this.

I know of several posts that fit none of these descriptions, Mark, and you deleted them too. Of course, that assumes that you aren't so shallow as to label anyone who disagrees with you as a "troll."
I think it would be more honest if you simply admitted that you do not want anyone to question the wonderfulness of your hobby (peddling the possibility of living IBWOs to naive people).

No TB sites allow commenting. Cyberthrush was the first to stop any negative comments. Soggy Bill just recently stopped comments.
I mean really...wouldn't you if you had to defend this crap?

"At the moment, it appears that readers can't view or submit comments at Feathered Ghosts"
There may be some good reasons for this. I am grateful to Mark (the blog owner) for deleting posts by the fake "IBWO Atheist"

Yes, humor is a terrible thing. It has no place on a blog. And don't get me started on thoughtful comments. They are the worst. The blogger's curse.
