IOL: Residents hope wind turbines generate cash
He said a team of University of Cape Town students had made a model of the envisaged farm after they had collected data which showed that winds in the area were suitable for driving the turbines.I see no evidence that the people of this "poor fishing community" actually understand the economics of the wind business.
If the opportunity is so great, why aren't private companies rushing to install wind turbines in that area?
