The Queen tackles climate change by buying world's biggest wind turbine off North East coast | Mail Online
The Queen's estate has purchased the world's biggest wind turbine in a bid to tackle climate change.Ok, but in addition to Hansen's barking madness, will we also hear some climate realism?
The 100-metre high turbine will supply 7.5 megawatts of power to the national grid when it is installed off the North East coast of England.
(Geological Society of America) James Hansen, one of the world’s leading authorities on present-day climate change, will speak to scientists at the Joint Annual Meeting of GSA/SSSA-ASA-CSSA/GCAGS, bringing the message that if humanity wishes to preserve a planet similar to that on which civilization developed, CO2 must be reduced to below the present atmospheric amount. Dozens of other scientists will inform the climate change discussion throughout the Oct. 5-9 meeting.
