UWSP to host first climate-change forum
STEVENS POINT -- Some of the smartest minds in Wisconsin will be at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point in December to craft a response to the threat of global climate change.NH Climate Change Policy Task Force to hold sessions
CONCORD, N.H. (AP) - The governor's Climate Change Policy Task Force will be holding a series of public sessions around New Hamphsire starting in the Seacoast area on Sept. 15 and ending in the North Country on Sept. 29.
The task force is especially looking for input on actions relative to education, energy efficiency, renewable energy and transportation. These events are open to the public.
The central purpose of the sessions will be to offer New Hampshire residents an opportunity to provide input regarding how the state can address climate change and energy issues in the future.
