Change comes to Wal-Mart

A couple of days ago, I headed to my local Wal-Mart to buy some real light bulbs like these (GE Soft White Bulb, 100 Watt and 60 Watt).

I was greeted by a sign stating that Wal-Mart no longer stocks these standard light bulbs; however, they do offer lower-wattage bulbs that offer "almost" as much light.

Although the real light bulbs are now gone, I believe you can still buy tobacco and firearms at Wal-Mart...

(The bulbs I wanted were still available at a nearby Target store.)

Addendum: For those of you who still think this is about the environment, I'd add this note: my Wal-Mart still does stock premium 100-watt GE "Reveal" light bulbs, which are much more expensive.
