January '07: Clif Bar Save Our Snow Winter Roadtrip Launches at SIA
LAS VEGAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--World Champion freeskier Alison Gannett kicks off the 2007 Clif Bar Save Our Snow (SOS) Winter Roadtrip today at the Snowsports Industry Association (SIA) tradeshow in Las Vegas. Traveling in an RV powered by vegetable oil, the Clif Bar SOS Winter Roadtrip will visit ski resorts and schools in the Western United States, Rockies and Canada over the next two months.

“The impact of global warming on snow pack levels is being felt worldwide,” said Gannett. “We’re seeing it this up close this year, both in Europe and the Eastern US. The goal of our roadtrip is to educate skiers and snowboarders about the issue and to provide simple steps each person can take to help reduce their impact on climate change.”
