Typical of this were the well-scrubbed and fashionably dressed Gen-Ys who were carried out screaming during Prime Minister Kevin Rudd's National Press Club speech on the environment last week. Not happy with what they were hearing about the Government's climate change policies, the reaction was an overwrought made-for-television moment that seemed to fulfil the standard Gen-Y principle that if you are going to be on TV you should at least look as if you work in marketing.
