Minister for Climate Change and Water, Senator Penny Wong today announced Australia's Kyoto-compliant emissions trading registry is online and linked to the United Nations International Transactions Log (ITL). 'By ratifying Kyoto, the Rudd Government signed Australia up to be part of a global solution to climate change,' Senator Wong said. 'With this trading registry up and running, Australia has achieved another important milestone in meeting its obligations under the Kyoto Protocol.'
