I've looked around on the web, and the silence about this event is deafening. I can see that various people are still jumping in cold water for other causes, but how many Americans participated in last Saturday's "Get Cold to Stop Global Warming" event?

The experience … well let’s just say I will never do it again. I neither found it exhilarating nor refreshing as people had described. Simply cold, bitterly bone chilling cold.
