ISLAMABAD: Heavy rain and snow have closed roads in the upper areas of the country while the price of wood use for burning purposes has been increased and these areas are facing shortage of gas cylinders and food items.
Snowfall was continued in upper areas of Chitral and Lowari Top recorded 8 feet snow while 1 and half feet snow was recorded at the place of Boni. The road link of Sub-Division Mastoj has been disconnected with other parts of the country while Lowari Top has also been closed for every type of traffic.
