Firestorms and Deep Freeze: Climate Change May Bring Both

They still argue that such record-breaking deep freezes disprove global warming. But they're desperately seeking semantics, while the rest of the world is waking up to reality. Which is this: Catastrophic climate change will feature as much ice as fire. It probably already has.

We have to wait and see, but as a person who is very sceptical about CO2 pollution being the cause of global warming and having this theory once again shot down on a Discovery TV programme where deep ice cores drilled in the ice caps that gave samples from hundreds of years ago proved that the increase in CO2 happened as a result of global warming then, NOT AS THE CAUSE, I feel I am right along with millions of others, many respected scientists....

DC Weather Examiner: Is Global Warming taking over or is it just a bunch of hot-air?

In all the talk and heated debate about global warming, I came across several articles on the subject recently, that made me think, but not change my view on the subject. Regardless of one's opinion, the facts are the facts and they cannot be denied. In this case, I make a case that global warming is simply a political ploy, in order for the news media to persuade the public into a state of panic. Why i'm not sure, but I have to say that I have been a part of that same media for fifteen years now and I get frustrated with the constant ignorance and one sighted reporting from both broadcasters and publishers!
