Investor's Business Daily -- Hot And Bothered

Scaring the public about global warming is not a service; it's an abuse. It's also a waste of resources. Instead of minds engaged in solving real problems, it appears that many are riddled with anxiety over a chimerical issue, some so much that their lives are bitterly interrupted.

We are encouraged, though, by signs that people are starting to understand that global warming is not a serious — or even a real — problem. We just hope they don't get sucked into the next manufactured crisis.

Progressives should worry that the friggin’ National Security Adviser thinks he doesn’t need to focus laser-like on two wars and the terrorists who are trying to kill Americans. Jones wouldn’t just be kidding himself if he thinks he can spread himself so thin as to cover a host of tangential issues. He would be committing criminal negligence. Condi Rice, anyone?

Hmmm--I thought Romm always maintained that global warming was The Most Important Issue of All Time.   Why should it suddenly be demoted to one of a "host of TANGENTIAL issues" for our National Security Adviser?!
