Carbon [Scam] Credits Should Be Given for Saving Trees, Australia Says - Carbon Offsets Daily
March 25 (Bloomberg) — The United Nations should award carbon credits to countries for not cutting down trees in a new climate treaty being negotiated, Australia said.

In an interview with the Financial Times, Mr Ban said he would use next week’s G20 summit in London of leading developed and emerging economies to call for developed countries to meet unfulfilled overseas aid targets, to provide funding to tackle climate change in poorer regions, and to help with liquidity for emerging economies.

“I will ask them to provide a truly global stimulus package that meets the needs of all developing countries and I would suggest $1,000bn over the next two years,” he said.

All of which somehow explains the media’s breathless reporting all week long of the group’s rantings as offering further “data” — from computer models about the future, mind you, so “data” isn’t exactly the appropriate phrase — that the future will be worse than anyone had thought.
