Nickeloden Honors Leonardo DiCaprio for [His Promotion of the Greatest Scientific Scam in History]
Nickelodeon just announced that Leonardo DiCaprio will receive the first-ever Big Green Help Award during Saturday's broadcast of the Kids Choice Awards. I have known Leo for almost 10 years, and I am delighted that his environmental advocacy will be recognized this way.
Australian Climate Madness: Yet more indoctrination of our children
It's a very subtle and clever tactic - Earth Hour seems like a bit of fun, and the kids will love it, but the reality is that it has a deeply political message, urging governments around the world to "tackle climate change". Schools wouldn't dream of take sides in political matters such as the Iraq or Afghanistan wars, or workplace legislation, or advocating socialism over capitalism (or vice versa) [Although in New South Wales, they probably would - Ed], so why are they doing exactly that in relation to "climate change"?
Pinko Magazine » Holy shit.
This video is the leading Republican congressperson responsible for energy and climate. His statement on global warming is about how humanity is just going to adapt, complete with references to the Dark Ages, mini-ice ages and European grape and berry picking. “We will have trouble adapting to unemployment,” he noted, which presumably will be caused by the proposed cap and trade and not by his part of Texas being swept away into the Gulf, which I think would be fine regardless of how the legislation works out. This is crazy.

If Norton and others are looking for a way to lessen the threat we face from global warming, how about making the ultimate sacrifice by shutting down the entertainment industry as we know it? Actors and actresses could instead turn to live theater, giving daytime plays outdoors for maximum earth-saving benefit. They could travel around the country by wagon train to further shrink their carbon footprints. And just think of all the electricity we could save by there being no more movie theaters and no need for televisions, DVD players, cable boxes and so on in our homes.

Environmentalist David Owen in the New Yorker: “The world’s principal source of man-made greenhouse gases has always been prosperity.”

Finally, we get to the heart of the problem.

One side wants the ruination of civilization and is using this global warming fraud to advance its agenda.

The rest of us realize that mankind’s advancements have not only helped people, but other species. Cavemen did not protect snail darters, for example.
