La Crosse, WI: "Brutal" winter... Gone but not forgotten

LA CROSSE, Wisconsin (WXOW) - Meteorologist Zach Brown says, "In meteorological terms, our winter was the third snowiest, dating back to the late 1700's when records had been kept."

Area residents remember the cold.

La Crosse resident Brady Palmer says, "Oh, just long. One of the longest I can remember. Let's see it was just snowy in December. January it was just cold."

Holmen resident Matt Lambert says, "Brutal, absolutely. I've never been through a winter we just had so much snow and cold. It was a rough winter."
