NC Media Watch: I am not worried, are you?
Now, let me ask you. If the citizens are not worried about global warming, why are our political leaders? What possible reason could they have for being worried, when citizens are not? Do you think, it might be for some other reason than climate change. Maybe a good reason to tax more of your wealth. Could it be they are trying to scare you to pay more taxes, to solve a non-existing problem.
Skeptic's Corner: "Notable Quotes"
[Daniel Botkin] "Soothsayers have always tried to persuade people that they could predict the future. What is new today is that the incredibly powerful tools of science - nuclear weapons, flights to the moon, computers, iPods - have such huge implications for civilization that they may contain the seeds of their own destruction.

Thirty years from now, we will probably not be interested in today’s specific computer forecasts, but we may have lost our faith in science, a deeper and, to me, a more important problem.
Skeptic's Corner: Pipes break in the cold
The idea that record snowfalls causing terrible flooding followed by spring blizzards is a reason to point out the danger of global warming by the President of The United States just shows how silly and insane this entire agenda is. If it weren't so dangerous and serious it would be funny.......Oh, OK it is still funny.
Big Lizards:Blog:Entry “More Obamunism: Who Controls the Newspapers Controls the Present”
...as we have all seen, PBS is forbidden from any political editorializing, politicking, electioneering, or advocacy. But of course, if they're merely reporting on issues -- straight "reporting," such as:
...
* That anthropogenic global climate change is universally accepted by "science;" thus the time for denial by denying deniers (i.e., "high crimes against humanity and nature" or "intergenerational crime in the face of all the knowledge and science from over 20 years") has ended once and for all;

...That sort of straight, unbiased, apolitical news reporting will naturally still be allowed. You can't prohibit educational institutions such as the New York Times and the Washington Post from educating, can you?
The Auto Task Force Is Groping | But Then What
Several team members, such as Brian Deese, a 31-year-old former Obama campaign aide, are on loan from the White House’s National Economic Council. Three others specialize in [the] climate change [scam]. The rest come from agencies such as the Energy and Labor departments. Backing them up are about 30 accountants and advisers.

Mr. Rattner dismisses the idea that his team may not have enough auto expertise to tackle the job.
Crunchy Chicken: If you plan on doing Earth Hour
Sure, they get people excited and make them feel like they are participating in a global movement, but the overall impact is fairly minimal, particularly given the fact that the majority of participants end up burning paraffin candles instead. The end result is that Earth Hour burns more CO2 than keeping one low-watt CFL bulb burning instead.
