This is happening with the environment as well. For too long, progressives themselves have been labeling it “global warming”. I thought this was troubling immediately- it is too easy to just point to snow and bring down the entire argument. Second, it is problematic because it is just technically wrong. The earth won’t simply get warmer. The changes will be felt more at the poles. Also, certain areas will just get dryer. Europe might just go through another ice age.

This is why the proper term should be “global climate change”. Because that is what it will be.
