Obama is a sucker, impressed by the white-coat pretensions of lobbyists who are the 21st-century equivalents of those seekers for the Philosopher's Stone who plucked importunately at the sleeves of medieval monarchs ("Sire, I have a project...").

This is a plea to bring a legitimate debate about Global Warmer...better yet Climate Change to the table. In all honesty, that is the crux of this topic. Mr. Gore says, " The science is in and the debate is over", yet literally thousands of scientists have signed petitions and have scientific evidence to the contrary. There is no consensus.
