Wong must cap and slice | The Australian
The question is: Why has the Government obfuscated and misled the Australian people? Rather than explaining the strengths and weaknesses of her scheme to the Australian public, the Minister for Climate Change has instead sought to cover up and conceal the fundamental problem. And when the first glimmerings of realisation began to spread among the Australian people, she worked hard to suggest, without actually stating it, that individual action could indeed reduce emissions. This was in addition to accusing those who were attempting to blow the whistle that they were indulging in a little misleading of their own.
House Is Abandoning Carbon Neutral Plan
The U.S. House of Representatives has abandoned a plan to make its offices "carbon neutral," a sign that Congress is wrestling with a pledge to become more green even as it crafts sweeping legislation on climate change.
Arctic chill: Alarmist team finds no ice melt yet
After landing on a suitably thick piece of multi year ice, approximately 1km by 2km in size, the FSB team set up camp, only to endure a particularly cold night, with temperatures dropping to as low as -50ºC (-58ºF) and a storm racing in. Today is therefore being spent digging in the tents, building windbreaks out of snow blocks, digging latrines and making the base as comfortable as possible, given the conditions.
...
The team’s stoves are struggling to perform in the low temperatures at present, and the fuel pumps are leaking fuel all over the tent, an irritating but common problem on polar expeditions. As a consequence, Ann will now spend much of her days with the fuel pump inside her smock, in the hope that her body heat will keep the pump from freezing up.
