Nice headline: "Gore gives blessing to climate change bill"
Former Vice President Al Gore, who won a Nobel prize for his crusade on climate change, is giving his stamp of approval today to House Democrats' bill to tackle global warming.

It seems a mix of 1960s idealism and President Barack Obama's current "Yes We Can" motto is alive and well at UC Berkeley.

And on Thursday, students who are designing affordable water filters for slum dwellers in Mumbai, India, and advocating for squatters threatened with eviction in Nairobi, Kenya, got a boost from one of the nation's most well-known social justice leaders — former Vice President Al Gore.

Gore — who Chancellor Robert Birgeneau mistakenly called the former U.S. president three times, chalking it up to wishful thinking — used a gold-plated shovel to symbolically heave a small pile of dirt at a groundbreaking ceremony for the new $16 million Richard C. Blum Center for Developing Economies.

This is so disgusting I can’t get over it. The science behind the need to limit carbon dioxide is an absolute scam. This is a power grab by the Democrats to regulate everything and everybody.
