Prime Minister Brown no doubt was anticipating a coronation of sorts for his role in promoting on his own turf the cause of climate change. Alas, however, the G20 meeting on climate change failed.

The world press marked the failure of G20 with a flurry of headlines. Here are a few. THE INDEPENDENT: “G20, Developing Nations Slay Brown’s Green Agenda”. THE AUSTRALIAN: “Zero Chance of U.S. Climate Bill before Copenhagen”. LATIN AMERICAN HERALD TRIBUTE: “Fidel Castro Slams Climate Skeptics”.

Former Vice President Al Gore may have proclaimed that global-warming “science is settled” but the foregoing headlines indicate that the world community has yet to accept his reasoning. Just when it appears that the global warmers have hit an immovable block they find a way around it. They will not give up easily.
Arizona Bill Would Limit Participation in the Western Climate Initiative
The Arizona House Environment Committee has approved a bill to bar state environmental officials from participating in the Western Climate Initiative.
