'Earth' from disney is pretty good. not too much global warming propaganda. they actually show natural climate cycles.
CO2 as a tool of Satan: It knows which plants we consider weeds, and it bestows favors on those plants
Peter Del Tredici, senior research scientist at Boston’s Arnold Arboretum, warned me a couple of years ago that any tree I chose to plant now should be one that is exceptionally stress tolerant. Like most scientists, Del Tredici when discussing this situation preferred to use the term “global climate change” rather than “global warming.” That’s because although the overall effect of accumulating greenhouse gases is to warm Earth’s climate as a whole, in any given region the impact will be less predictable. Changes in ocean currents, for example, could actually cause some regions to experience cooler weather. Computer modeling suggests that the northeastern United States will, on the whole, experience hotter summers and milder winters. Average annual precipitation is likely to increase, but it will probably come in fewer but more violent storms, so that plants will have to contend with soakings alternating with drought. An increase in the level of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere is predicted to favor weeds and invasive plants over much of the native vegetation. The tree you plant today will have to cope with all these things and more.
