Worldchanging Review: Planet Forward
The stories were well put together and informative. Each of the panelists’ responses added to the story, each providing differing points of view, but doing so intelligently. For example, the panelists didn't fight about whether climate change was real, but instead spent time examining the options for alternatives. A TV news show that has more facts than hype, and that I felt more informed after listening to? Remarkable.
Seattle: Yet another journalist bemoans the rise of climate realism
...I mention this because my Saturday story about climate change is up to 117 Soundoff comments. That's good, except that most of them focus on whether or not climate change is real.
...
As a journalist, I'm all for giving equal weight to all legitimate sides of an issue. But that just no longer extends to people arguing that human-caused climate change doesn't exist.
New Jersey: Another $285K of public money blown on the climate scam
CHERRY HILL, N.J. - Sen. Frank R. Lautenberg (D-NJ) today announced more than $285,000 in federal funds for Cherry Hill to purchase and install electricity-producing solar panels for the municipal building. Sen. Lautenberg secured these funds in the FY 2009 Omnibus Appropriations Act that was signed by President Obama in February. Rep. John Adler (D-NJ-03) was also in attendance to discuss the need for energy efficiency.

"Installing solar panels will help Cherry Hill save thousands of dollars, increase energy efficiency and combat global warming. These funds are part of the forward-looking energy policy we need to reduce energy costs and I will continue to help municipalities across New Jersey secure the resources they need to improve energy efficiency," Sen. Lautenberg said.
