The open debate on climate science
I will challenge anyone out there to give me one documented piece of observational evidence that man is responsible for the warming that ended in 2002. I will give in to 1998 as being an anomoly. Sorry, the fact that the world warmed isn't evidence. Unprecedented? Not hardly. Ice caps melting? Sorry, but they are back to the 1979-2002 average and global ice is increasing. Even CO2 concentrations in the atmosphere are increasing at half the rate of the emissions. Temperatures, even with the sloppy measuring system that has only a warm bias, are now cooling.
But have summers really become dramatically warmer in the last five years?
Naturally the global warming phenomenon has affected the climate adversely. Till about five years ago it was only the scientists with their data and measurements who were lamenting it, but today it is a reality felt by all of us each summer. Where once we never needed fans we need room coolers, and where coolers were needed before we now need air conditioners. The comfort of air conditioning is not under debate. That is just an established fact in our way of living today. No longer do we think twice about adding air conditioners to our homes.
Enron's Global Warming Scam
Remember Enron, the corrupt firm whose failure should have disproved the myth "too big to fail", but didn't? At the time it was the seventh largest corporation. It's bankruptcy was the largest in history until Lehman Brothers failed. Incidentally, Lehman Brothers was also involved in carbon trading.
