Just look at Plambeck's own column: get rid of your SUV, buy a road-gnat car, ride the bus or a bike.
First of all, the climate's always changing. Ten thousand years ago, a mere blink in geological time, this entire valley was buried under almost a mile of ice and woolly mammoths and saber-toothed cats were part of the local fauna.
Thank God for "climate change."
The only way these statisticians' arguments work is if the climate is a static system - and it's not. It's in a state of constant change and flux.
