To me the choice is very easy. Give me global warming any day, with the Atlantic Ocean lapping at New Ellenton if it comes to that, or whatever it involves.

This bill creates trading markets with no tangible basis. No contracts like soybeans, oil, metals, or corn, just imaginary carbon credits. The abuse potential is astounding. A lot of U.S. money will head overseas buying up unused "credits" in poorer countries. Call it foreign aid. Can you say: "Nigerian Carbon Scam"?

There are over 1,000 provisions regulating almost every aspect of American life, cars, energy, even selling your home. Imagine, you'll need to pass an "energy audit" to sell your home. Appraisers become tools of the state.

Worst of all, this tax bill does little to change temperature. For those that didn't watch, let me tell you in no uncertain terms that this bill is a disaster for America.

Fight this as if your life depended on it.
