Global warming for a 'lukewarmer'
I think we don't measure temperatures accurately. I don't think we understand sensitivity thoroughly. I don't think we've looked effectively at other forcings on climate. I think life has been entirely too easy on climate scientists, and that the participation in the debate of Al Gore will prove to be a negative factor on acceptance of the theory of global warming.

The Enid News and Eagle, Enid, OK - Inhofe: Climate bill ‘dead on arrival’
While many Democrats are touting U.S. House passage of a global warming bill late last week, one of Oklahoma’s senators is confident the Senate will kill the legislation.

“It’s dead on arrival in the Senate. It will not happen,” Republican Sen. Jim Inhofe told Enid Rotarians during their noon meeting Monday. “I can absolutely guarantee you it’s not going to happen in the Senate.”

Inhofe has been an outspoken opponent of economic concessions related to global warming legislation, and on Monday he again lashed out at the “faulty science” behind the House proposal.

The whole notion of global warming is the greatest single hoax perpetuated on the American people,” he said.
