GLOBAL WARMING FRAUD - James Quinn -- Seeking Alpha
So there you have it. Our nation's Science Czar, who has the President's ear on energy and global warming policy, has already hopped on a totally flawed, and outrageous, pseudo-science bandwagon on global population. Anyone wanna bet he isn't taking us on the same ride on global warming?
Remember that 20-point lead that new Democrat Specter had in that critical swing state? It's gone
The political climate has changed at home for Sen. Arlen Specter (PA), the Republican-turned-Democrat who represents a crucial swing vote in the Senate: a Quinnipiac poll today shows him virtually tied with Republican rival Pat Toomey, leading 45 percent to 44 percent...As Quinnipiac notes, he led Toomey 53-33 on May 4.
Yet another big bill
The Better Place model includes not only battery swapping for long-distance travel, but also battery leasing. Customers would own the car, but pay a per-mile charge to lease the Better Place battery. This approach gets a boost from the second poll, conducted by a University of California at Berkeley poll researcher, that indicates EV sales could jump to 86 percent of light-vehicle sales in the U.S. by 2030 "if consumers don't have to buy batteries themselves."

The study's author, Thomas Becker, also said it could cost $320 billion to build and install charging stations over the next 20 years.
Obama’s wins small so far - ColumbiaTribune.com
In L’Aquila, Obama tried to build momentum on global warming by reminding world leaders that the House recently passed an energy bill committing the United States to serious reductions in greenhouse gases. As a result, said Obama spokesman Robert Gibbs, leaders of China, India and Brazil are going have a hard time returning home and explaining why they “aren’t also willing to take those steps.”

Perhaps. But for now, those nations are resisting.
