When I was young, clouds in the sky often looked like mythical animals, but now they don't. I blame global warming.
We need a green oracle to shut the climate change deniers up | News | The First Post
The climate change lobby needs just such an oracular guide. At the moment, simplistic carbon measurements allow climate change deniers to point up the contradictions and make a mockery of the green case.

The production of such a guide will, of course, mean chopping down trees in order to print books, and creating websites which themselves produce further CO2 output via the electric power which runs them.

But if we chop down the trees in Sweden - and use its hydro-electric power to drive the websites - then such a solution would be about as near as any of us will ever get to a carbon-neutral guide to carbon neutrality.
The Road to Copenhagen - Chris Horner - Planet Gore on National Review Online
With today's news on India's candid admission that global warming is so great a threat that other people need to pretend to do something about it — that is, that a failure to grow economically is a far greater threat than the greatest threat facing mankind — allow me to lay out how I see December's "Kyoto II" talks in Copenhagen unfolding. I say this fully aware that the administration has reiterated, in the wake of India's candor, that Team Obama "need[s] an agreement" in Copenhagen, something to wave about declaring Greenpeace in Our Time, look at me I'm not Bush Part XII, etc.
