Indian monsoon arrives late and weak this year, consistent with future global warming scenarios: http://tinyurl.com/mudmc6
In case you missed it: Variation in monsoon not due to climate change: Ramesh
NEW DELHI: Climate model studies has shown no significant impact on change in the mean onset of monsoon in the country, government said.

"The long-term mean onset date of monsoon in India is 1st June, with a standard deviation of about 8 days," Environment minister Jairam Ramesh informed Rajya Sabha.

"However, year to year variations in the onset or the propagation are part of the natural variability and cannot be attributed to climate change," he said.

Why not eliminate privately owned vehicles altogether?
Since when is a "certain" carbon footprint ok (aluminum production, carbon footprint of increased food consumption)?
Who decided how large of a footprint is ok and when?

The greens know there is a limit to how far they can go at this time, so they promote some inferior 'replacement' for everything they want to take away (combustion engine ->electrical, dryer -> clothesline, flying -> trains, meat -> vegetables, bottled water -> tap water, etc.). In the final equation however, they won't stop complaining until all man-made objects we use are replaced with *nothing*.
