YouTube - Texas: Town hall meeting ends in protest; Lloyd Doggett encountered protesters at several events over the weekend
A quiet discussion with the lieutenant governor morphed into a heated protest throughout the weekend. [Doggett claims "this is not a grassroots effort"]June 26, '09: Doggett Switches, Will Vote for Climate Bill | The Washington Independent

Texans shout down ObamaCare at Rep Doggett mtg (who voted "yes" on cap and trade) Great video! http://bit.ly/cdsMTDoggett says he's more resolved than ever to pass a health-care plan | Postcards
[Doggett statement] This mob, sent by the local Republican and Libertarian parties, did not come just to be heard, but to deny others the right to be heard. And this appears to be part of a coordinated, nationwide effort. I am more committed than ever to win approval of legislation to offer more individual choice to access affordable health care. An effective public plan is essential to achieve that goal.YouTube - Doggin' Doggett [at the 30 second mark, a constituent asks an inconvenient question: How in the world can you sign and pass bills without ever reading them?!]
