I Love CO2: An Inconvenient Question: The Age of Stupid NYC Premiere

Our director, Phelim McAleer, went to NYC on Monday to ask "Age of Stupid" premiere attendees an inconvenient question, "How did you get here?" Not surprising is most of them flew in but it is incredibly ironic given that planes are one of the great evils in the film. Also ironic, and wrong, is that they blocked free speech by kicking our director to the curb.

New Zealand: Cold snap hits lower North Island

The central and lower North Island has been struck by snow, high winds and flooding, leaving several motorists trapped for several hours at the summit of Rimutaka Hill Road.

The road has been reopened to motorists and the vehicles which were trapped have been removed.

Around 40 vehicles got stuck in about 30 centimetres of snow and the road will be monitored through the night.

Obama's New Plan To Tackle Global Warming

US President Barack Obama is demanding the world's richest and poorest nations stop subsidising fossil fuels in an effort to combat global warming.

Mr Obama will put the plan on the table at the G20 summit in Pittsburgh this week as world leaders attempt to show they are serious about tackling climate change.

But his plan is likely to run into opposition from G20 partners like China, India, Russia and Brazil who are believed to spend billions in fossil fuel subsidies.
