Weekend frost nips southern Ont. soybeans
A significant frost landed on some of southern Ontario's soybean crops over the weekend, according to the University of Guelph's AgriLink service.

But since one of the biggest bones of contention during the drafting of Waxman-Markey was precisely who gets what piece of a big pie, shrinking that pie by tightening the overall emissions cap would only lead to even more horse-trading and lobbying by vulnerable industries. Given the Senate’s difficulty in securing 60 votes for a climate bill, securing votes for a tougher climate bill doesn’t look too promising.
